Circle Study

Inspired by roundels and the Nzilanicompany logo. Glass and lead came.

Mosaic

Glass and mirror on clear glass substrateset with traditional mortar. No lead came

Frank Lloyd Wright/Bauhaus Study

Beveled, streaky, colored and clear textured glass.Lead came of various widths.

Painted Mosaic

Otherwise identical to the Mosaic petal in design, this panel highlights effects achieved by in-painting.Glass, paint and mirror on clear glass substrate set with traditional mortar. No lead came.

Fillet Border Study

Constructed using original painted glass fillets from Grace Cathedral, saved from our conservation of theOld and New Testament windows. The intention was to use all pieces as they were, with no re-cutting.Any gaps were compensated with lead diameter. Painted glass and lead came

The Nzilani Rose Window is a dynamic work in progress, with a few panels yet to be updated. We areexcited about a petal currently being developed in collaboration with artist Armelle Le Roux and herglass studio Atelier Le Roux.
